The computer is a vintage computer that runs The Amazing Digital Circus, a program on the computer that the main cast is all trapped in. There is also a headset on the desk where it rests, which is the main way of accessing the Circus. It is implied through the contents of the Exit door that the room that the computer is located in is in an office building known as "C&A".
"PILOT" (Episode 1) appearances[]
In the "PILOT" episode, the computer is first seen turned off in the part where Pomni is running across the office room that the Exit door led to. At the end of the office, Pomni notices it, and after staring at it for a few seconds, she starts manically laughing and runs directly through the nearest exit door. This action suggests that Pomni may recognize the computer setup from somewhere.
It is finally seen for a second time after the camera zooms out past the void showing the actual computer in nearly the same position and room as it was inside the exit door. In this instance the screen is turned on, sunlight is visible from the blinds to the left of the computer, and the room's lights are turned off.

In the "PILOT" teaser of TheWackyWatch website, the computer is first seen turned off.
However, after the man in a Caine costume twitches the baton, the computer turns on and displays The Amazing Digital Circus' main menu screen.
