Queenie[1] is a posthumous major overarching character of Glitch Productions' indie animated web series The Amazing Digital Circus. Her face can briefly be seen in the Pilot, and she plays a minor role appearing in Kinger's flashbacks in The Mystery Of Mildenhall Manor. She is Kinger's abstracted wife.
Appearance[]
Queenie was a chestnut wood queen chess piece. She had cartoonish white-gloved hands detached from her body, two large asymmetrical eyes with brown pupils. Her eyelashes were at the bottom of her eyes. She wore a red robe with white fuzzy lining spotted with black.
Her Abstracted form looks like Kaufmo, but her eyes are at the front of her. Plus, when Kinger was calming her down, her lines seemed to straighten and have less of a static effect. This could imply that there is still life behind the Abstracted humans.
Personality[]
While we never see Queenie's personality first hand, according to Kinger, she was creative, funny, and really into entomology. She was also quite persuasive, as she was able to change her husband's distain for bugs into a love for them.
Biography[]
"PILOT" (Episode 1)[]
When Pomni, Jax and Ragatha were walking the corridors in order to look for Kaufmo, a crossed out image of Queenie can be seen on one of the doors.
The Mystery Of Mildenhall Manor (Episode 3)[]
In the third episode, it is revealed that Queenie was abstracted prior to the beginning of the series through a flashback. Kinger recalls certain characteristics about her after Pomni mentions that he is acting different, notably after he tells her that he is always reminded of Queenie when surrounded by a dark environment. In the flashback, Kinger and an abstracted Queenie can be seen in the pillow fort. Kinger recalls that the darkness seemed to calm Queenie down a bit, and he chooses to touch her one last time before she gets sent down to The Cellar.
Trivia[]
- Queenie was never explicitly confirmed to be Kinger's wife in the pilot, in that it could have been someone else. It was only recently confirmed by Gooseworx that Queenie was Kinger's wife.
- Queenie's reason for abstracting could've been hinted at by Kinger in The Mystery Of Mildenhall Manor. Kinger says "In this world, the worst thing you can do is make someone think they are not wanted or loved", possibly pointing to that Kinger and Queenie had an argument of sorts before she abstracted.
